SGR Engineering was founded in 2002 to offer race car development and maintenance services for UK based competitors in saloon car championships. This side of the business ran for 6 years.
In 2006 the company began implementation of online database applications for corporate clients, along with low cost, reliable internet services, on UK based web servers in a dedicated data centre. This part of the company ran until 2024.
From 2008 to 2025 the company also provided contract based software testing services.
